I've been pondering a few different RP prompts to get things moving, and I figured that the NYC mutant district described here might work to create all sorts of interesting drama opportunties.
Case in point? UNDERGROUND MUTANT SPARRING MATCHES
Anyone got any other ideas, or thoughts on UNDERGROUND MUTANT SPARRING MATCHES?? Any sort of activity that might happen in a mutant ghetto?

Every second Wednesday of each month, at some point during the evening, a poster gets stuck up on Traore's Specials board advertising mutant underground sparring matches.
(Traore himself steadfastly denies any knowledge of who puts up the posters, but somehow never gets around to taking the poster down until a couple of days have passed.)
The location of the sparring matches is given as 152 Drover Street. This is the address of Altered Inks, Middle East Side's most popular tattoo parlour. Any inquisitive cop will find that the staff react with puzzlement to any mention of underground sparring matches - but anyone who wants the information for more honest reasons will find that the psychic receptionist on the front desk is only too happy to direct them to the true location of the sparring matches (which shifts on a monthly basis).
