MIDDLE EAST SIDE
This ghetto in Lower Manhattan has drawn a large amount of mutant immigrants in the last few years, enough that it's starting to take on the nickname of "Mutant City". As dangerous and unpredictable a place as it is, it's also one of the few places that mutants feel like they can be themselves - with the exception of the odd police raid, of course.

Notable locations:
- Traore's, a mutant bar in the middle of the neighbourhood. The tendency for undercover policemen to turn up in this bar means that newcomers often get treated with caution and suspicion, but if you want into the mutant underworld, Traore's is the place to start.
- Altered Inks on Drover Street, the neighbourhood's most popular tattoo parlour. Rumour has it that the proprietor knows the whereabouts of the local underground mutant sparring ring, but their psychic receptionist is good at weeding out people with less-than-honest intentions.
