The Basics
Full Name: Sally Sharpe
Codename: Disc
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Nationality: Canadian (raised in BC, though her parents are Québécois)
Powers: Can conjure hard-light “discs” that form on her forearms and manipulate them telekinetically
Occupation: Student
Appearance
Height/Weight: 5’3”
Voice/Accent: Soprano; she doesn’t have a strong Canadian accent, but the odd “eh” etc does creep in sometimes.
Facial Features: Blue eyes, mid-length auburn hair with a fringe (she usually wears it tied back in a ponytail).
Body Type: Small and generally petite, except for her wide thighs.
Personality and Skills
Personality
Inquisitive, friendly, articulate, honest, indecisive. Sally's a generally personable and amicable type, and her journalism aspirations give shape to her dream of travelling the world and meeting lots of interesting new people.
Sally's lived a pretty easy life so far and it shows; she tends to have a knee-jerk defensive and hostile reaction to belligerent/aggressive people, while letting her guard down (perhaps a bit too much) with friendly types. She is also only just getting to grips with the persecution that minorities in America face, and though she's kept her mutant identity closeted for a reason, she doesn't really understand quite how bad it can get for people who don't have that option. She is a sympathetic listener, though, and will try to understand and respect others' points of view (again, just so long as they're not shouting).
Skills
Biography
The only child in a well-off, upper-middle-class household, Sally's powers manifested when she was 14, to the shock and concern of her parents. They were determined to protect her and help her conceal her powers, but were keenly aware of their own lack of knowledge regarding mutants - so when Sally received an invitation to join the Xavier Memorial School, they encouraged her to accept.

Skills
- POWERS - Sally can use her discs as small shields and as thrown weapons, and is practising using them to fly (by standing on them). Currently, they're about as sharp as a butter knife, but still pack a painful punch.
- JOURNALISM - Sally aspires to be a journalist when she’s older, and is very knowledgeable about current affairs, particularly various mutant rights movements. She blogs across multiple platforms and has a modest online following, though she hasn't come out publically as a mutant.
- ACADEMICS - Strong in English, French and the social sciences, decent in Maths and the natural sciences, weak in Music and Art.
